By the way I read about Restany and saw his picture in Flash Art magazine,
it is  a pity to have lost such a nice person. God bless his soul!

As for the gates that me and my gallery artists did for you are the 2 gates

1. the Zebra door: that is a symbolic door with a perspective to the world
of zebras from the blue sky color to the sienna sands of the desert
     as seen in the picture. Place Villa Maxim, internal door, Bois de
Bologne, Beirut , Lebanon
 2. and all the rest of the attchments with close ups are very historically
symbollic. The Phoenicain Gate : as you will see the pictures , they are all
mobiles of differnt items from the real 2000BC Phoenician pottery ( I found
myself in the archaeological sites in Beirut) , the the real Jurasic black
round basalts, the
white geodes from the Creataceous layer of Lebanon mountains and real shells
from the Mediterranean sea painted in gitane blue color, one of the shells
is the murex shell that the Phoenician extracted teh purple color  from it.
So it is a very symbolic mobile gate reflecting the mobility of our age
coming all the way through the 1.5 million years old basalts and geodes of
the nature  passing to the Phoenician man made real antique pottery tothe
murex shells. this is the story of continuety form nature to man to the
future init smobile form!
